Facing a less than 20% survival rate, she became part of a small group of women nationwide that participated in one of the earliest EXPERIMENTAL Clinical Trials for Adjuvant Chemotherapy for treatment of Breast Cancer. Despite four grueling years of chemo, radiation, and many surgeries, she stumbled her way back. And as a result, Behind the Pink Ribbon was born. Using raw wit and layman terms she descibes what its really like to be monitored for the rest of her life.
Currently, pj is working on several projects. Not to mention, another book or two. Besides being an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Clinical Trials, she speaks about her experiences in hopes to inspire others on faith and living with cancer.
